Red Cabbage
A must have with dressing, whether it is bread dressing or cornbread.

5 slices of bacon cooked
Red cabbage head
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
Salt & pepper

Shred cabbage and cook in bacon grease. Add red wine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, and a little water if necessary. Simmer 20 minutes.

Note:  Sometimes I have to add more sugar to  mine.

My familiy loves this with Christmas Dinner.
